State of the Business Sales Market 15th to 28th March – Happy Easter

Within the next few short weeks I expect to see the level of enquiries on businesses slowing down until we get through the Easter period.

The graph below shows firstly January, February and March enquiry levels for 2012, then November 2012 through to March 2013.  The graph illustrates March 2013 has seen a higher level of enquiries than February 2013 and slightly higher than January 2013.  However for me, the most reassuring factor is that in 2012 enquiries dropped dramatically in March and never really recovered for the remainder of the 2012 calendar year.  Whereas this year we have experienced an increase in enquiries for March.

I’m buoyed by recent positive economic factors and consumer confidence growth.  Like many I would really love to get the federal election out of the way so we can have some further stability, which I believe will help push us into further positive territory.
