It has been re-assuring to look at the new enquiry numbers for June and see it has picked up since the slow start to the month. At the time of writing this report (June 25th), we have had a few more days of enquiries before the month closes, however we believe the number of enquiries will stay pretty low.
We expect July to start off slowly as per usual for this time of year and pick up towards the end of the month as we move away from the end of financial year period.
Looking ahead, it will be interesting to see the affect the upcoming Victorian election has on the volume of new enquiries from business purchasers. In the past, elections tend to slow the enquiry rate quite dramatically, especially if alot of the policies/promises circulate around issues that affect small businesses.
